Bring Out This Old-Fashion Mix For A Yummy 7 Up (Lemon) Cake

Lemon is a tangy refreshing taste and what a good method to end a meal.  Whether for a family meal, dinner party, pitch-in, place of prayer supper, etc. lemon cake is always a large hit.  This old time mix is still good for today's meals.  Granny's 7 UP Cake is an old family mix that is created with lemon cake combine and lemon pudding mix, as well as 7-up.  It is yummy and shall no doubt grow to a most liked in your house, too.
GRANNY'S 7 UP CAKE
1 standard container lemon cake mix1 4-serving volume container of instant lemon pudding mix1 bottle (10-oz) 7 UP soda3/4 cup baking oil4 eggs, separated
Preheat the stove to 350 degrees. Grease and wheat 4 8-inch round cake pans; set aside.








Combine the cake mix, instant lemon pudding mix, 7 UP, baking oil, and egg yolks in a moderate mixing bowl. Beat the mix for 3 minutes.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold into the cake mixture.
Pour into the prepared cake pans and fry for 30 to 35 periods until a wooden toothpick inserted within the center returns out clean. Cold within the pot for a couple of minutes. Remove from the pot and cold completely on wire racks.
FILLING:
1 cup evaporated milk1 cup granulated sugar3 egg yolks1 stick butter1 tsp vanilla1 mini can crushed pineapple, drained1 can coconut
In a moderate saucepan combine the butter, evaporated milk, granulated sugar, and egg yolks. Bake over moderate heat, stirring frequently, for 10 to 12 periods until thickened. Remove from the heat and sum the vanilla, crushed pineapple, and coconut.
Place one cooled cake layer on serving plate and top with the one-third regarding the filling. Top filling with the 2nd cake layer; top with another one-third regarding the filling. Sum the final cake layer to top and top it with the final third regarding the filling.
