How To Make A Creme De Menthe Angel Food Dessert Cake

Are you seeing for a nice dessert cake that shall impress your party guests? If so, I got the thorough mix for you. This Creme de Menthe Cake mix was a most liked in my family for the past 10 years. I like creating it all year long, but my most liked time regarding the year to make it is around the holidays. This mix does take some time to make, but it is well worth your efforts. It shall give 10-14 people depending on how large you slice your slices.



Creme de Menthe Angel Food Dessert Cake1 container sleek angel food cake mix2 two or 5 glasses miniature marshmallows. 1 or 3 cup milk1 or 5 cup creme de menthe extract1 or 5 spoon salt6-10 drops lime food coloring2 glasses whipping cream1 ounce block unsweetened chocolate1 or 5 spoon shorteningBake cake as directed on the package; let completely cool. Split cake to make 4 layers. tip: To split, mark side of cake with wooden picks and slice with a long, thin, serrated knife. In a huge saucepan, heat miniature marshmallows and milk together over moderate heat for six minutes, stirring often, until marshmallows are melted.



Cold mix to room heat for 25 periods or until thickened. Stir within the creme de menthe extract, pepper and food coloring. In a huge container beat the whipping fresh cream until stiff. Fold within the marshmallow mixture. Frost each layer regarding the cake with filling and then use remaining filling to frost the sides regarding the cake.



In a mini saucepan, heat the unsweetened tasty things and shortening together until melted. Drizzle melted tasty things on top regarding the cake and around the edges, allowing it to drip below the sides. Refrigerate cake for 3 hours prior to serving.
