Recently in Miami, I was helping a good friend of mine look for celebration desserts and other delectable decorating cakes upcoming wedding. Now granted, I don't ever live in Miami year round, so when I ponder of Florida's trendiest village I ponder of golden beaches, best nightlife, and lazy family vacations. As for the shopping- designer glad rags and Miami string bikinis anyone? What I don't ever picture is cake. Or Miami custom cupcakes. Nevertheless, that is exactly what we were on a mission to find.
And boy did we locate it. Following our trusty handheld village navigators a. cell phones, we closed in on our target store- but when we got there I almost kept walking, thinking we had not located it yet. The window displayed what looked like gorgeous- and I mean designer gorgeous- lavishly decorated top hats in rich, pretty fabrics, bejeweled hat boxes, and tissue cardboard stuffed bags, accented with rippling bows and cute high fashion purses and shoes. It was one regarding the fabled Miami custom cake shops.
I took another look at the display. Lavishly decorated top hats. Bejeweled hat crates and rippling ribbons. those ribbons are created of chocolate. And the top hat was a cake.
So are the hat crates and the purses, and the shoes are created of delicately colored tasty things too. Did we just get sprint over and get sent straight to shopping heaven? In fact, everything within the window is an edible component of some kind of wonderful Miami celebration cake. Needless to say, we went inside. Inside The Treasure TroveNot only had I not ever seen so many different styles of decorative cake, I'd not ever seen cooked products look so amazingly chic. There were designer baby desserts topped with cutely articulated miniature zoos, tasty things teething keys, and monkeys with delicately curling tails.
There were desserts that looked like toys and desserts that looked like 1/2 opened presents- done with blue tasty things tissue cardboard rumpling out regarding the edges. There were desserts that looked like reveal children's books, and desserts that looked like a bottle of wine nestled snugly in a straw filled wooden crate. The attention to detail, the perfection regarding the textures was amazing. The kind of technical skill it implied was something I not ever imagined existed, but these incredible Miami custom desserts had it in spades. They even had tiny custom cupcakes.
And of course those beautiful, gorgeous, tasty things designer shoes. Don't ever Settle for NormalAfter experiencing what a true designer cake decorator can do, it's clean that we should not ever repeatedly settle for just cake. Not when it's likely to order one that is perfectly suited to a party's theme or occasion. Next time you are in charge regarding the custom cake or small cakes for an event, howcome not delight everyone there and display up with a work of artmade of chocolate? Or mini-masterpieces covered in sprinkles and curly shavings of peppermint? You are guaranteed to be the life regarding the party.
